Here's the Recipe for Aunt Ellen's Banana Brownies:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix together:
· 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
· 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
· 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
· 1/4 teaspoon salt
Set the medium bowl aside. In a medium to large bowl, beat the below ingredients together for one minute:
· 1/3 cup softened butter
· 1/2 cup brown sugar
Into the butter and brown sugar mixture, beat in:
· One egg
· 1/4 cup of milk
· 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Add the flour mixture into the wet ingredient mixture and beat at low speed.
· Then, beat in 2 1/2 mashed bananas.
· Mix in 6 to 12 ounces chocolate chips, depending on how chocolatey you want it.
Bake in a 7x12-inch glass pan for 25-30 minutes, or a metal pan for 20 minutes. Check the middle with a toothpick; if the batter isn't relatively dry, bake another two minutes.
Enjoy the deliciousness!
