If you haven’t been to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Halethorpe yet, St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect excuse! They’re throwing an epic celebration every weekend in March with exclusive brews, live music, and plenty of delicious Irish-inspired food. I love that it’s just a short drive away and gives me the chance to experience an authentic Irish celebration with a Baltimore-twist.

I’m kicking off St. Patrick’s Day weekend at Union Jacks Columbia with Dublin 5! Their mix of Celtic rock and modern hits is guaranteed to bring the energy, and I can already picture the crowd singing along with a pint in hand. If you love live music and a lively atmosphere, this is the place to be!
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration with The Amish Outlaws – March 17, 2025
St. Patrick’s Day itself calls for something unique, and The Amish Outlaws deliver. Their mix of rock, pop, and Irish classics makes for an unpredictable and ridiculously fun night. If you want nonstop dancing and a high-energy crowd, this is where you’ll find me and the hubby on March 17th.

I love bringing the kiddos along to stroll through the charming streets, grab themed drinks, and check out the Irish-inspired menus at local restaurants. Nothing screams St. Patrick’s Day like a parade! Whether it’s bagpipers, Irish dancers, or festive floats, the energy is always infectious. If you love a classic St. Paddy’s experience, check out one of these parades and get ready for a sea of green.

Frisco and the Reckless Shepherd: This is one of my go-to spots for great beer, live music, and the most delicious Shepherd’s Pie. It’s the perfect place to celebrate with friends!
Kelsey’s Irish Pub: I love Kelsey’s for their cozy Irish pub atmosphere and incredible food—bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and their famous Irish egg rolls are all must-tries. Pair it with an Irish ale, and you’re all set.
Other great spots to check out: Stained Glass Pub, Looney’s, Ten Oaks Tavern, River Hill Grill, and White Oak Tavern—they’ll all be serving up special Irish menus in March!
