The Mitten Winter Tea Party at the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia, Maryland invites children and families to step inside the classic winter storybook, The Mitten. Participants will enjoy a read aloud of the story, create a mitten themed craft, and explore the winter woods on a guided nature walk to learn how animals prepare for the colder months.
After outdoor exploration, families will warm up with tea and sweet treats catered by local Touche Touchet Bakery while connecting with new friends. Designed for children ages 4 and up, this cozy and educational experience encourages imagination, creativity, and a love of nature. All children must attend with a registered adult.
