The Merriweather Arts and Culture Center and The Columbia Festival of the Arts are excited to announce GUSTER with the Howard County Youth Orchestra, a collaboration between the renowned alternative-rock band GUSTER and the talented young musicians of the Howard County Youth Orchestra. Nashville-based artist, Kyshona, will be opening the concert.

The Howard County Youth Orchestra is a program that serves the students of the Howard County Public School System. A division of Howard County's Gifted and Talented program, they are composed of five orchestras with the purpose to enrich the school instrumental experience provided in the county's 42 elementary schools, 20 middle schools, and 13 high schools. The collaboration with GUSTER promises to be a unique musical experience that blends the sounds of rock and classical music.
GUSTER is an American alternative rock band that has been entertaining audiences since the mid-1990s and has released several hit songs such as Overexcited, Amsterdam, Satellite, and Do You Love Me. The band has also been recognized for its philanthropic efforts, supporting various causes such as the environment, education, and human rights.
