Supporting Local Business and Community in a New Way
Big news for The Columbia Mom and the Howard County community! 🎉
I’m honored to share that I have officially joined the Board of Directors for the Howard County Chamber of Commerce for 2026.
This exciting opportunity comes as I step into the role of Chair of the Young Professionals Network (YPN), a leadership position that allows me to further support local professionals, entrepreneurs, and businesses while helping shape the future of our community.
A Meaningful Milestone
Since launching The Columbia Mom, my mission has always been simple: connect people with the incredible businesses, events, organizations, and experiences that make Howard County such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
Over the years, what began as a local resource has grown into one of Howard County’s most recognized community platforms, reaching thousands of residents each month and helping countless local businesses share their stories.
Being invited to serve on the Chamber’s Board of Directors is both an honor and a reflection of the power of community connection. I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring the perspective of local families, small businesses, content creators, and community advocates to the table.
Supporting Howard County’s Business Community
The Howard County Chamber recently welcomed a new class of Board members whose expertise spans healthcare, workforce development, law, finance, human resources, technology, and community leadership. Together, we will help guide the Chamber as it implements its 2026–2028 Strategic Plan and continues its mission of helping local businesses grow, succeed, and thrive.
I’m excited to collaborate with an incredible group of leaders who are deeply invested in the future of Howard County and committed to strengthening our local economy and community connections.
Looking Ahead
As Chair of the Young Professionals Network, I’m especially passionate about creating opportunities for emerging leaders to build meaningful relationships, develop professionally, and become active contributors to our community.
Whether through networking events, business partnerships, community initiatives, or advocacy efforts, I look forward to helping connect people with the resources and relationships they need to succeed.
Thank You
To everyone who has supported The Columbia Mom over the years—local businesses, community organizations, event partners, fellow entrepreneurs, and readers—thank you. Your trust and encouragement have made this journey possible.
I’m excited for this next chapter and look forward to continuing to champion the people, businesses, and organizations that make Howard County such an incredible place to call home.
Here's to building stronger connections, supporting local businesses, and creating even more opportunities for our community in the years ahead. 💙
