Old Ellicott City Coffee Shops
There’s something about Old Ellicott City that just makes me want to cozy up with a cup of coffee and people watch on Main street. If you haven’t checked out historic Old Ellicott City, it’s a must! It’s a tiny town in the heart of Ellicott City with tons of charm, food and shopping. I love some of their adorable coffee shops and I wanted to share my top three. If you haven’t been, take a day to check them all out and make sure to stop in Sweet Elizabeth Jane for some shopping!
Georgia Grace Cafe - Georgia Grace just took over an old historic building located right on main street after their prior location flooded twice. Their new location is adorable, chic and provides so much more seating. You walk in and they have a display case of pastries (you must try them all!). They have amazing lattes, breakfast bowls and lunch options. If it’s a nice day, be sure to check out their new patio area out back with plenty of seating.
Little Market Cafe - Little Market has been around for a bit now, they were recently renovated when HGTV visited Ellicott City and put some TLC into the coffee shop. They’re located in the main parking lot of Ellicott City. However, they have a great front patio, fire pit, and string lights that really set the ambiance. It’s a small coffee shop on the inside, so don’t expect to sit indoors on a saturday or sunday as it’s packed! Their bagel sandwiches are outstanding, but their lattes and coffee really are what keep me coming back.
Old Mill Cafe - When you find yourself to the end of mainstreet you will find the Old Mill Cafe, which is right over the bridge if you’re familiar with Old Ellicott City. They’re tucked away, but are worth the walk to the bottom. They have some amazing drinks, beignets and avocado toast. They’re a great breakfast spot with plenty of seating inside and outside if you want to stay. Or if you want to take your drink to go, they’re located right in front of the Trolley Trail. Make sure to check them out!
