One of our staple parks is Centennial Playground, right off 108 in Columbia, MD. I love that it’s a large playground, never too crowded, rather shady, with lots of slides, running around, park benches, and easily accessible to walking around Centennial Lake.

We’ve even done picnic lunches with the family there as well. Plus, it’s a great way to get a quick easy outdoor time with the family this week!

“Centennial Park is a Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks’ public park located in Ellicott City, Maryland. It surrounds Centennial Lake, covering an area of 337 acres. Traveling around the lake is a 2.4-mile paved trail loop.”
