Supporting local markets isn’t just about great food (though, that’s a perk). When you shop at a farmers market in Howard County, you’re:
Supporting small businesses and local farmers.
Reducing your environmental impact by minimizing transport and packaging.
Eating fresher, more seasonal produce.
Strengthening your connection to your community.
Plus, let’s be honest—there’s just something about chatting with the person who grew your tomatoes or baked your bread that feels good.
