This was our first time ever to the Howard County Nature Conservancy - @hcconservancy - at Mt Pleasant, and it was absolutely beautiful! They have a large indoor space for events, classes, summer camps, & preschool. So if you are coming to visit, prepare to be outside the whole time! They have a small indoors area to explore, where they have small reptiles to see in cages.

Otherwise we walked along the beautiful garden trails, the walking trails, and checked out the farm animals!

Be sure to wear weather appropriate gear & shoes (bring sunscreen as necessary).

FUN FACTS:

“Mt. Pleasant is a 325-year-old farm now operated as a nature reserve and educational facility. The mission of the Howard County Conservancy is to educate children and adults about our natural world, preserve the land and its legacy for future generations and model responsible stewardship of our environment.”
