Complete List of the Best Places for Strawberry Picking in Maryland

Best Places for Strawberry Picking in Maryland and Beyond

If you know me, you know I LOVE taking my kids to the farm any chance we can get outside. Especially when it’s strawberry picking season – which runs from late May to early June! I’ve put together a list of some of the most praised strawberry picking farms in the Maryland region (Howard County and beyond)… plus a BONUS – a few farms on the Eastern Shore! Check out my list below:

UPick Berries at Pearlstone

  • ADDRESS: 5425 Mt. Gilead Road, Reisterstown, Maryland 21136

  • ABOUT: Pearlstone is a FANTASTIC spot for strawberry picking with your family! They supply picking buckets (no need to bring your own). Make sure you pack lunches and a blanket! They have a large covered pavilion with picnic tables, public bathrooms, and grassy areas. Their weekends are the busiest, so I recommend a weekday visit – if possible! Pre-picked berries may also be available at the Farm Stand, based on inventory. You can sign up for their UPICK text alerts by texting UPICK to (410) 541-5868. When you do, you’ll be the first to know when berries are ripe and ready for picking!
