I don’t know about you other parents, but I am always looking for a good deal. When it comes to raising two under two, I feel like we celebrate one birthday party before having to plan another. I was on the hunt for some affordable birthday party venues in the Howard County area, so here’s my list!

I absolutely LOVED the play n’ learn. Especially if you’re looking for a rainy day activity. The warehouse has some awesome playgrounds, trampolines and basketball courts. It’s awesome! Included in this pricing is the party room, tables, chairs, utilization of the entire facility for 20 children! All you have to bring is the pizza & cake and enjoy the fun.

I don’t know about you, but I loved build-a-bear when I was a kid! When I heard about their birthday party packages, I was shocked to see how affordable they were compared to some others. I personally thought this idea was great if you wanted to host a smaller party.

They do have a minimum of 5 guests, which means the party minimum is $100, however for a small birthday party, it’s perfect!

Most of these packages are best for children 3 and up. The pricing includes a room rental, a program lead and enough invites for 20 kids! You also are given 20 complimentary invitations.

4. Mad River Bakes, Columbia MD

Are your kids sugarholics like mine? Or do they love helping you bake in the kitchen? My kids LOVE to decorate and with this party, you get it all! Mad River Bakes is a local bakery in Columbia, MD that hosts cookie and cupcake baking parties!

You get the opportunity to pick a theme which includes:

The birthday party package starts at $200 and it’s for 8 kids with a max of 12 (however $25 more each). This includes:
