Haunted Main Street: Into spooky things during the fall? This date night idea is perfect for you. Every Saturday night during October, from 8:30 - 10:00 PM main street hosts - Haunted Main Street. Old Ellicott City is a resilient town, over 250 years old, with great shops and a vibrant night life…so is it any wonder that the many ghosts who still call this town home remain to see if they can still raise the hairs on the back of your neck?

Before the ghost tour, grab some drinks and something to eat at Phoenix on Upper Main and then snuggle up tight with your significant other as you go through a spooky tour.

Cooking Class: Baking and Tasting Desserts with Secolari and Ancient Grains.

The Inn at Mary’s Land Farm is hosting a cooking class on Saturday, October 21 through Satuerday, December 2 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There are tickets required in advance and the class is $100 PP.

Participants will:

  • Bake a 5” seasonal fruit pie to take home

  • Taste multiple Secolari balsamic flavors on fresh baked pie 

  • Bake a 6” cake using their favorite Secolari oil to take home

  • Learn how to make an einkorn pie crust using Secolari oil

  • Understand how oil is often a better choice for baking than butter

  • Enjoy the historic farmhouse Inn at Mary’s Land Farm

Apple Picking: Nothing screams fall like apple picking! Larriland Farm, located in Woodbine Maryland has acres of farm to pick your own fruit. Bring your significant other or family and stroll down the rows of apple trees. Make sure to stop in their local shop to get yourself some fresh apple cider, cheeses, and jellys. Bring all your goodies home and set up a charcuterie board for a fun at home date night.
