Spring Events Howard County

Ahhh spring. There’s something about taking off the sweats and putting on a sundress, feeling the sun on your skin and rocking a new pair of sunglasses. Spring is the perfect time to try something new with family or friends. Howard County offers tons of fun events for everyone. Here’s my top three that are coming this spring, make sure to check them out! 

Spring Fest Old Ellicott City

April 15th 12-8 PM 

Tickets: No Tickets required 

Details: SpringFest 2023 brings the promise of spring, live music and great family fun on a day you don’t want to miss. With tons of bands, food vendors and free crafts there’s activities for everyone in the family. This event also is for eight hours on Saturday, April 15th. Get out and celebrate Old Ellicott City with your family on Main Street. 

Wine in the Woods 

May 20th 11-6 PM and May 21st 11-5 PM 

Tickets required : if you purchase tickets in advance you receive a $5 discount

Details: Located at Merriweather post pavilion in Columbia, MD come out for a day of wine, beer, music and activities. Wine in the woods is the opportunity to taste some wines from local vendors and bring the people of Howard County together. Bring your own food, a picnic blanket and enjoy spring with a nice glass of wine. This event is typically for 21+ year olds, but kids are allowed there just isn’t a ton of kids activities. 

Chrysalis Kids: Celebrate Springtime with the BSO 

May 13th 10:00 - 11:00 AM 

Tickets: this is a free event, however, it’s suggested you register prior 

Details: Celebrate Springtime is part of the BSO's Tiny Tots Music Box concerts, designed to develop musicality, creativity, coordination, and literacy for children ages 6 months - 3 years. We hope you can join us for this musical celebration of the season
