I first discovered VANITY BEAUTY LOUNGE back in the fall, around their reopening! Amazingly, they had initially opened shortly before the pandemic, and like many small businesses, worked tremendously hard to maintain their high quality services despite the limitations. 


Since their reopening to the community, they have continued to grow & flourish within the community. Including all of their service offerings!

About owner, Melanie Brumsted:

“Melanie’s passion for beauty and empowering women led her to open Howard County’s first Lash and Beauty Lounge. After working as a hairstylist for many years, eyelash extensions began trending and developing. As one of the first lash artist in Maryland, Melanie became five times certified and a master of her craft. As the heart beat of Vanity Beauty, she focuses on developing her team with advanced mentorship and training.”


Upon going to Vanity for my very first eyebrow lamination service, I got to meet Melanie & her team, and it has been wonderful to learn about her story, her passion for high quality skincare services, and helping men & women to look & feel their absolute best. 

 
 

Her team is composed of licensed cosmetologists & licensed estheticians that focus on the industry’s most up-to-date service trainings, high quality product usage, safety, & education. 

I have personally seen Jennifer for eyebrow lamination, brow wax & tint, Courtney for spray tans, & Michael for facial services. Everyone that I have come into contact with has been incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and extremely confident in their skills!
