As the holiday season approaches, Maryland transforms into a twinkling wonderland adorned with dazzling lights, enchanting displays, and festive cheer. From enchanting drive-through spectacles to immersive walk-through experiences, here are some of the must-visit light shows that promise to ignite your holiday spirit:

Merriweather Symphony of Lights: Merriweather Park in Symphony Woods has historically been a popular destination for a dazzling light display during the holiday season. It features animated and stationary light creations, and visitors can drive through or walk around the illuminated wonderland.

Historic Savage Mill Holiday Decor and Lighting:
Historic Savage Mill presents a unique holiday experience.  Outdoors, see the Bollman Truss Bridge-the last remaining example of a design used throughout the US and Europe-illuminated in thousands of twinkling lights.  Inside the Mill, find all-out holiday decor, live entertainment, boutique shopping, artisan demos, dining and more!

Festival of Trees: Maryland State Fairgrounds: Experience the Festival of Trees at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium. This indoor holiday extravaganza showcases elaborately decorated trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses, offering a feast for the eyes and festive entertainment

Browns Bridge Road - Home light show: Located at 7621 Browns Bridge Road a local home displays Christmas lights that sing and dance. Donations are accepted and given to the Howard County food bank.
